  • Abstract tool: An account for the abstract tool is required to make a submission. You can create an account free of charge in the first step. If you already have an account on our platform m-anage, for example from the DCK 2022 – 2025 you can use the login data for this again.
  • Abstract template: Please note that the abstract must not exceed 1.000 words (including the bibliography).
  • Language: Abstracts can be submitted in either German or English. The lecture language is German, except for international sessions and international speakers. You will find out whether your abstract will be placed in an international session in December 2025 at the latest. The language in the presentation must be same as the lecture language.
  • Type of presentation: You can submit your abstract as an “Abstract Presentation online” (presentation in the form of Rapid Communications in DCK.digital from 14. – 16. April 2026) or as “Abstract Presentation” (presentation in the form of Rapid Communications in DCK.digital from 14. – 16. April 2026 or as an open lecture at the DCK from 22. – 24. April 2026 in Leipzig) or as a video (presentation in DCK.digital from 14. – 16. April 2026 or at the DCK from 22. – 24. April 2026 in Leipzig in München). The final decision on the form in which your abstract will be presented will be made by the professional societies.
  • Publication: Accepted English-language abstracts will be published in Innovative Surgical Science.
